NBC has yanked the sitcom “Best Friends Forever” from its schedule.

Just four episodes of the midseason sitcom have aired. It will be replaced with “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” hidden camera series on Wednesday nights at 8:30 p.m. instead.

Starring Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair, “BFFs” debuted April 4 to 3.6 million viewers, before sinking to 2.94 million viewers.

The network did not announce when the remaining two episodes of “Best Friends Forever” would air (if ever).

But co-creator and star Lennon Parham confirmed the news Friday on Twitter, saying, “BFF Fans: Wanted to let you know that our show is being taken off the air until the summer. Hoping to post ep 5 & 6 online asap…”
