Watch: Two Contestants Quit in ‘Biggest Loser’ Drama

A rebellion broke out Tuesday night on “The Biggest Loser” as the five remaining contestants threatened to quit over a plot twist that has long been part of the show.

You won’t have to search long for the drama in the episode, above, because the crisis unfolds right at the beginning of the show, as the final five learn that the season’s past contestants are returning to the competition. As in past seasons, one of the cast-offs will win the right to return to active competition.

But this didn’t sit well with the remaining five, who all conspired to walk off the show if producers went through with the plan to bring back the cast-offs.

In the end, producers were able to partially pacify the protesters, persuading three to remain. But two of them left — Allen “Buddy” Shuh and Mark Cornelison.

The returning contestants are expected to reenter the competition next week.
