‘Jeopardy!’ Celebrity Edition Recruits ‘Power Players’

“Jeopardy!” has enlisted 15 celebrities with some impressive credentials to compete in a special edition for “Power Players Week,” including Anderson Cooper, Dr. Oz and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Collectively as a group, they have 21 Emmys, eight Peabodys, four Pulitzer Prizes and a Grammy Award, as well as served under three White House administrations and includes the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.
The winner of each night collects a minimum of $50,000 for the charity of their choice. And even the losers win, as the other players will earn a guaranteed $10,000 for their causes.
The “Power Players” will tape the shows in front of an audience at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., on April 21. The episodes will then air May 14 – 18.
