Jennifer Love Hewitt’s got it, and she flaunts it, a lot of it, in fact, in the ads for her new TV series “The Client List.”
But somebody thought Hewitt’s ample cleavage wasn’t fit to print and digitally altered her breasts (reportedly a 36-C cup) to reduce their size in various magazines, most notably Entertainment Weekly, that ran ads for the series premiere this week.
But it wasn’t the network, Lifetime, it turns out. Sources tell Fox News that the publications themselves altered the images in an effort to please advertisers who thought they were too hot to trot.
The racy pics, seen above, before and after, feature the voluptuous Hewitt — who plays a prostitute on the show — clad in black lingerie.
Hewitt, for her part, was perplexed by her digital boob job, telling radio station KROQ 106.7 Friday:
“Somebody sent me a copy of the photograph, and I was like, ‘Um, what happened?’ … I’m not quite sure what’s going on, but apparently somebody wanted me to have a boob reduction.”
Whether you approve of the ample promotion or not, the ploy worked: 2.8 million viewers checked out Sunday night’s debut of “The Client List” – a respectable number for a Lifetime series.
The 33-year-old actress has always been proud of her curves:
“It’s horrible to say, but I like my boobs. They’ve always served me well. They’re good,” Hewitt recently told Maxim.
