Jennifer Love Hewitt may be playing a bad girl on TV but she’s trying to keep her good girl image.
Hewitt plays a call girl in her new series “The Client List,” but she says, despite the provocative role, you won’t see her baring all.
“I wouldn’t have done nudity, no,” Hewitt, 33, said on a conference call with reporters. “That’s not something that I feel particularly comfortable with.”
Of course, the show, born from the successful made-for-TV movie also starring Hewitt, has its boundaries since it airs on Lifetime, but Hewitt insists she wouldn’t have done nudity even if “The Client List” were on a premium channel such as HBO, Showtime or Starz, which can feature as much graphic content as they want.
“I think that it’s sexier not to show everything,” she adds. “I feel like imaginations can do way more.”
Coincidentally, ads for Hewitt’s new show that featured the actress busting out of a bra have been digitally altered to reduce her infamous cleavage. For the low down on that, watch the clip below.
Of the racier role, the former “Ghost Whisperer” star says she “loves it” and is having “a lot of fun” playing a financially struggling single mother who works at a Texas massage parlor and discovers she can get more bang for her buck by giving her clients a little something extra.
“The Client List” airs Sundays at 10/9c on Lifetime.
