‘Today’: ‘Terrified’ Octomom Discusses Debt, Desperate Measures

Eight is enough but how about fourteen?

Nadya “Octomom” Suleman appeared on “The Today Show” Thursday, where she talked with Matt Lauer about her recent troubles.

The overwhelmed mother of octuplets, who also has six other children, is struggling financially and is now receiving $2000 a month in aid from the state of California.

And she’s taking flack for recently posing nearly naked in the British magazine “Closer,” but Suleman contends she didn’t do it for fame and says she was paid only $8000 for the photo spread. (It’s estimated that it costs $9000 a month to raise 14 children.)

As she and her massive brood face possible eviction, Suleman says, “I’m terrified – I’ve never been so terrified in my entire life.”
