Kate Gosselin thinks it’s a shame that people are still talking about her. Well, more specifically, about her tumultuous turn on “Dancing with the Stars.”
The former TLC reality star has responded to negative comments made on a talk show last week by her former DWTS partner Tony Dovolani about his experience “Dancing” with Kate, which has previously been reported as strained (to put it mildly).
“Since I was mentioned, I have a few things I’d like to say on the subject. First, I think it is a shame that Tony has been left only with a negative impression of our time together, especially after we spent SO many hours, days, nights and weeks working hard together doing our best in the competition,” Gosselin writes in a response on her blog at CouponCabin.com.
“Let’s face it – he didn’t have a lot to work with as far as my dancing abilities were concerned. I’ve admitted and laughed about this many times over the last two years!” she said in her defense. “Second, despite the many obstacles I faced at that time, I was left with a very positive impression of the entire experience!”
Kate added, “I very much enjoyed the challenge and the comradery…and I don’t regret a single moment!”
Dovolani appeared on “Anderson” last Friday, where he knocked Gosselin’s dancing and said that he needed “a lot of therapy” to recover from being paired with her on the show.
Finally before signing off, Gosselin proposed a challenge to Anderson Cooper.
“To Anderson Cooper I’d like to say this: I’d love the opportunity to be a front row spectator for your first dance as a competitor on the next season of Dancing With The Stars … I can only imagine how your view of the subject may change 180 degrees, not 360 degrees, if you are given the opportunity to cha cha cha!”
