Fox is hooking up this summer with a new dating reality show, the network announced Monday.

According to Fox, “Take Me Out” is a “fast-paced, dynamic and hilarious series in which first impressions really do count, and where one lucky woman has the chance to win the ultimate dream date with a potential new flame.”

Based on the international format and from the producers of “American Idol” and “X Factor,” the show features “The Flirty 30,” a panel of 30 beautiful, single women that each week meets a bevy of bachelors who attempt to impress them.

If the ladies are interested in a gent, they switch on a light at their podiums; if they’re not, it’s lights out. This goes on for four rounds, with the final round featuring the bachelor posing a final question to the last two girls before HE chooses a winner. The winning couple is then “whisked away on a romantic fantasy date” as their prize.

The host of “Take Me Out” has not yet been announced.

“Take Me Out” will premiere Thursday, June 7, at 8/7c on Fox.
