Michelle Duggar took questions recently in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network and was asked about her thoughts on global overpopulation, considering her family includes husband Jim Bob Duggar and her brood of “19 Kids and Counting.”
Her answer was that concerns of overpopulation are actually unnecessary, as it is untrue.
“The idea of overpopulation is not accurate, because really the entire population of the entire population of the world, if they stood shoulder-to-shoulder, could fit in the city limits of Jacksonville,” she said in the interview.
She explains that even, so, she and her family try to be resourceful by buying used cars and shopping at thrift stories.
“I agree with Mother Teresa when she said, ‘to say that there are too many children is like saying there are too many flowers,’” Duggar adds.
