Being pregnant with her fourth child isn’t slowing down Tori Spelling.
The actress/author/designer/reality star has landed a new gig hosting an upcoming TLC reality called “Craft Wars,” the network announced Thursday.
An “avid crafter” herself, Spelling will serve as host and contestant mentor, as well as executive producer of the series, which pits three everyday enthusiasts against each other in two rounds of difficult crafting challenges each episode.
The series, initially set for 10 episodes, began production last week in Los Angeles and is scheduled to premiere this summer on June 26.
“‘Craft Wars’ continues to re-define crafting as something extremely modern – this is not your grandmother’s crocheting. At its core, the series celebrates the creative spirit, which will resonate with TLC’s audience,” said Amy Winter, TLC’s GM, in a statement.
“We are a very crafty family,” Spelling, 38, tells People. “[My husband] Dean [McDermott] is super crafty! He’s the builder in our family. He’s amazing at building things and painting them, and then I decorate them. We are a great team.”
Spelling, who recently announced she’s pregnant again just five months after giving birth to daughter Hattie, and her growing brood currently can be seen on Oxygen’s “Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.”
