“Entertainment Tonight” co-anchor Mark Steines is leaving the entertainment news program after 17 years.
Steines has decided to “pursue other opportunities” when his contract ends, reports The New York Post.
“He has been a beloved member of ‘ET’ for 17 years, and we fully support his decision,” a rep for “ET” tells The Post.
Steines joined “ET” in 1995 as a correspondent and was bumped up to co-anchor in 2004, where he was paired with longtime co-host Mary Hart until she retired last year. Hart was succeeded by Nancy O’Dell.
No replacement has been named.
