But Sherri said she hadn’t cheated — and after her Monday night show triumph, in which she scored a 23 for her foxtrot, “The View” hostess continued to insist previous dance lessons hadn’t helped her.
“I’ve taken dance classes before everywhere,” she told Xfinitytv backstage. “No disrespect to the teachers that I took classes with – my little pole dancing classes—it didn’t help me one bit here. I need to get all my money back.
“This right here was the result of hard work,” she said as her dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, stood by.
“Of working four, five, six hours every single day and crying and feet hurting. We worked hard and I’m not letting anybody take away from that.”
She added that, “I never danced with Val until I walked into that [partner reveal] room. We’ve [just] known each other socially.”
