MTV is done with the original cast of its reality docu-drama “Teen Mom.”

“Season 4 will be the final season with Maci, Catelynn, Amber and Farrah,” MTV told Us Weekly.

The network has not revealed a premiere date for this fourth and now final season of the original “Teen Mom,” but it is expected to air sometime this summer.

“Teen Mom” is a spin-off of MTV’s “16 and Pregnant,” which debuted in 2009 and was a surprise success for the network. Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood became “reality stars” and their teen mama drama was launched into the gossip pages. The spotlight was glaring, particularly for Portwood, who’s been in trouble with the law and in rehab, while fighting for custody of her three-year-old daughter Leah.

The franchise also spawned “Teen Mom 2,” which just finished its second season, and “Teen Mom 3,” which is currently in the works. Season 4 of “16 and Pregnant” premieres March 27.

The “Teen Mom” cast will continue to be “a part of the MTV family.”

“We’re thankful to these brave young women for sharing their stories and helping to make a positive impact on teen pregnancy prevention,” MTV said in a statement.
