First Look at Matthew Perry’s ‘Good Wife’ Gig

Matthew Perry is suiting up for his upcoming appearance on “The Good Wife” and we have a first look.
CBS has posted new images of Perry on set of the legal drama for a recurring guest role that begins March 25. But don’t expect the “Friends” star to be particularly friendly to Julianna Margulies’ Alicia Florrick.
Perry plays a charming-but-possibly-shady Chicago attorney (is there any other kind?) who goes toe-to-toe with Alicia in an episode titled “Blue Ribbon Panel.”
According to the synopsis from CBS, Perry’s character, Mike Kresteva, is responsible for heading up a blue-ribbon panel that’s investigating a suspicious police shooting. Alicia is assigned to be on the panel and soon begins to question Kresteva’s motivations.
Last week it was reported that Perry is returning to TV for a full-time gig in another NBC comedy being written by a former “Friends” scribe, Scott Silveri. Called “Go On,” the sitcom will star Perry as an “irreverent yet charming” sportscaster trying to move on from a loss who finds comfort in his mandatory group therapy sessions, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The Good Wife” airs Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.
