“The Finder” has found itself in the Friday night no-man’s land.
The Fox series, which premiered in January as a spinoff of “Bones,” will move from Thursdays at 9 p.m. to Fridays at 8, the network announced Friday.
The shift will make room for the new Kiefer Sutherland drama “Touch,” which will air following “American Idol” on Thursdays.
The last Thursday night “Finder” will air on March 8; it will return on April 6 with an episode guest-starring Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
The shift doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in the series’ future. It premiered to a soft 1.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic in January, and while it has improved somewhat, the last airing on Feb. 23 dropped 9 percent in the demo from its previous airing two weeks prior, to a 2.0.
