“Army Wives” returns Sunday March 4th with a two hour season premiere, “The Winds of War.”
Last season ended with the shocking news that Fort Marshall, the fictional army base where the show is set, was closing.
The premiere finds the women saying goodbye to each other, as they prepare to move on to their next posts.
For these close friends who have seen each other through so many rough times, losing each other is devastating.
In the first of two exclusive clips, Claudia Joy (Kim Delaney) and Denise (Catherine Bell) share an emotional farewell as Denise prepares for her move to Fort Hope.
Watch a Preview of the “Army Wives” premiere:
However, a powerful hurricane changes everyone’s plans. In the second exclusive clip, Roxy’s (Sally Pressman) goodbye party is interrupted when Denise and Pamela (Brigid Brannagh) are called back to active duty because of the storm. So much for their plans to help the scattered Roxy pack up her belongings.
The hurricane may claim one of the women’s lives when Roxy gets lost and her car crashes. Will Pamela be able to save her? Will the hurricane end up keeping the women at Fort Marshall, or will season six be about the women keeping their friendships alive via Skype? Where will everyone at Fort Marshall get drunk if Roxy’s bar is a casualty of her move? Will the stress of the situation make someone forget to address Claudia Joy by bother her first and middle name? Tune in Sunday night and find out.
Season 6 of “Army Wives” premieres on Sunday, March 4 at 9/8c on Lifetime.
