After all the goings on that surrounded Kim Kardashian after she ended her marriage to Kris Humphries after only 72 days, she might have had her “come to Jesus” moment, realizing that having such a public wedding isn’t the world’s best idea.

At least that’s the impression we get after reading what she said to Allure magazine, in an interview that was released this week. “When I saw (my sister) Khloé and Lamar (Odom) get married — and they had their wedding on TV — I thought, Oh, my gosh, that’s so exciting! That’s what I want! If you were to ask me now, that’s not what I want,” she told the magazine. Even though she also says that “my show is who I am,” she thinks she’ll be more guarded in the future.

If she had the good fortune to get married again, then, how would she do it? “I would just want it to be so special, with our family and close friends, and that’s it. Somewhere on a deserted island, very private. No cameras.”

Do we believe her? We’re not sure. This family’s entire life has been lived on TV over the last five years, and it seems like the road for them won’t end any time soon. But that’s also a fallacy, as the Kardashians are bound to fall off the pop culture map sooner or later (just ask Paris Hilton about being irrelevant… then again, maybe you shouldn’t). Maybe that’s when Kim will meet someone and get married on that deserted island. We can’t imagine the public buying another on-air wedding spectacular from her… right?
