The Thursday Buzz: The Debut of ‘Puppy Conan’ and More

The folks at “Conan” wanted to latch onto the craze started by the “Puppy Bowl” so they decided to create a puppy-fied version of their show, called “Puppy Conan”. Boy, was it adorable.

From backstage, a perfect puppy-sized replica of the set was rolled out, with a puppy in a red wig sitting behind the desk – Conan O’Brien thought he was “as depressed as I always am during rehearsal” — and a puppy with a blond wig for Andy Richter. They even had a puppy guest, who appropriately was portrayed by a chihuahua.

As much as you wanted to say “Awwwww!” the entire sketch, seeing the real Conan and Andy sitting on the miniature set, with Conan making the suggestion that they do an entire show from there, made the whole thing go from cute to intriguing.
