“‘The Voice’ has changed my name from the guy in Maroon 5 to Adam Levine, and I’m very happy to have a name..again.” So says Adam Levine, who coached the smooth-voiced Javier Colonto victory in the first season of “The Voice.” “He’s great, we have a lot of laughs together,” says Christina Aguilera. “But he does bring out my feistiness.” In person, Levine is a self-assured joker, quick, clever, smooth, talented, and hot (today the ladies on the set are whispering admiringly about tight fitting T-shirt), and the funny thing is the same can be said about the NBC competition show. “It’s about one thing – hearing these people sing,” says Levine, who reveals even more in the new profile below. “The chemistry between the four coaches was the genius of [executive producer] Mark Burnett,” he says, adding, “The blind audition is the most exciting part of show. I think it’s the essence of what the show is.” Before season two premieres on February 5 – immediately after the Super Bowl on NBC – we asked Adam to share his favorite music, TV shows, and movies.
