Louis C.K. Tells Jimmy Fallon His Special Has Passed $1 Million Mark

by | December 22, 2011 at 10:59 AM | Late Night

Louis C.K. continued the media blitz to promote his self-distributed comedy special last night by going on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and he had some good news to tell Jimmy: The sales of his special have passed the $1 million mark. Remember that C.K. is offering the special for five dollars, without any kind of copy protection. So the fact that he’s grossed a million bucks from this special is remarkable.

But Louie went on from there to tell Fallon how he has split up the money so far: he’s paid back the costs of producing the video, he gave bonuses to to people who work for him, he gave a quarter of it to various charities, and… well, you’ll have to watch to see what he jokingly tells Fallon he’ll do with the rest of the money.
