GOP candidate Jon Huntsman continued the trend of Republican presidential contenders hitting the late-night circuit. He appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman” for the first time on Tuesday, where he took a Bill Clinton approach to engage audiences.
During the interview, Letterman showed the world a picture of the ex-Utah governor from high school during Huntsman’s rocker days as a member of the group Wizard.
“I thought I could make it big, I wanted to be Paul Shaffer,” he said to Letterman, before the host had Huntsman head over to tickle the ivories and jam with the Paul and the band, echoing of Clinton’s famed saxophone appearance on “Arsenio Hall.”
