Warrior

Two estranged brothers and Mixed Martial Arts fighters confront the forces that tore their family apart as they prepare to do battle in the ring in the stirring drama ‘Warrior‘ from director Gavin O’Connor (Pride and Glory). One Tree Hill

Futurama

Blackthorn

It’s been said (but unsubstantiated) that Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were killed in a standoff with the Bolivian military in 1908. In ‘Blackthorn,’ Cassidy (Shepard) survived, and is quietly living out his years under the name James Blackthorn in a secluded Bolivian village. Tired of his long exile from the U.S. and hoping to see his family again before he dies, Cassidy sets out on the long journey home. Stars and Stripes Forever

Based on the life of talented 19th century composer John Phillip Sousa, ‘Stars and Stripes Forever‘ is a good-hearted musical filled with show-stopping numbers. The film was highly acclaimed, receiving three Grammy Award nominations in 1953 including Best Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy. Experience the romance and joy on Blu-ray for the first time. ‘Stars and Stripes Forever’ is a 1952 film biography of composer John Philip Sousa. Clifton Webb stars as Sgt. Major John Philip Sousa, who while the leader of the Marine Corps Band in 1890’s, meets Private Willie Little (Robert Wagner), inventor of an instrument he calls the Sousaphone…and Little’s girlfriend, shapely showgirl Lily (Debra Paget). The film follows Sousa after he leaves the Marines and forms his own band accompanied by Willie and Lily. Though he’d rather write ballads, Sousa’s marches bring him increasing fame and from their debut in 1892 the band is a great success. Midnight in Paris

Paris in the morning is beautiful. In the afternoon it’s charming. And in the evening, enchanting. But after midnight, Paris is magic! ‘Midnight in Paris,’ Woody Allen’s critically acclaimed romantic comedy, is now available on Blu-ray and DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Burke and Hare

‘Burke and Hare’ is the infamous 19th century tale of two grave robbers (Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis) working for the Edinburgh Medical College is adapted for comedic purposes with this John Landis-helmed production. Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft (St. Trinian’s) penned the black comedy, which follows true-life grave-digging murderers William Burke and William Hare as they do their damning deeds in Edinburgh, Scotland.
