Jimmy Fallon Puts Rock Spin on ‘Jingle Bells’ in ‘SNL’ Promos

And… We’re back! Man in the Box Jimmy Fallon returns to his old 8H stomping grounds this weekend to host “Saturday Night Live” with musical guest Michael Buble. In the above promo, Fallon and Fred Armisen put their own impressionist twist on “Jingle Bells” by channeling Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, David Bowie, and Bruce Springsteen.

The Jingle Bell-ing continues in separate promos below:

NBC has also released a couple of “Best of” Fallon videos. One featuring some of his most memorable characters, and another from his time as Weekend Update co-host. Apart from highlighting just how young Fallon looks – he was 26 when he took over “WU” with Tina Fey in 2000 – the videos serve as a fresh reminder of just how funny the show was in his heyday – and hopefully will be, if this tweet about the long night he put in yesterday is any indicator.
