Mary Tyler Moore Set to Receive SAG Lifetime Achievement Award

As far as the Screen Actors Guild is concerned, she made it after all.

Mary Tyler Moore is set to receive SAG’s Life Achievement Award at this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, according to Deadline.com.

The actress will be presented with the award by former co-star Dick Van Dyke during the telecast on Sunday, January 29. Moore and Van Dyke both starred in the iconic “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” before she moved on to form her own production company MTM and create “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.” Other shows under the MTM banner included “The Bob Newhart Show,” “WKRP in Cincinnati,” “Hill Street Blues,” “The White Shadow” and “St. Elsewhere.”

Nominations for SAG Awards will be announced on TNT tomorrow at 9 AM.
