Are Sarah Palin‘s fifteen minutes coming to an end? It sure seems like the former vice presidential candidate has receded from the spotlight a bit since she said she wouldn’t be running for president in 2012, and now it seems that she’s having trouble selling a sequel to her successful TLC reality series “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, TLC and A&E have turned down a pitch from Palin and “Alaska” producer Mark Burnett for a reality show that would follow Sarah’s husband Todd on the competitive snowmobiling circuit. Yeah, we don’t think that sounds very interesting, either. But according to THR, the networks are staying away right now because of the asking price, which is similar to the price that landed “Alaska” at TLC after a bidding war.

Of course, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing Todd Palin buzzing down the mountains of Alaska at some point. But by the time the show hits the air, are we really going to care, even if Sarah is heavily involved?
