Ice Cube is gearing up to produce and star in a new series for FX called “Eye For An Eye,” according to Deadline.com. The drama will follow a “complex man,” played by Ice Cube, who is a veteran paramedic, according to the report. After years of leaving crime scenes with victims who struggle to live in the back of his ambulance, the man snaps and becomes a vigilante. He soon becomes addicted to revenge, his personal life then spirals out of control.

Ice Cube is already the executive producer the TBS sitcom ”Are We There Yet?” which is based on his 2005 movie, and he has a recurring role on the show.

Last month, Ice Cube tweeted to his 250,000-plus Twitter followers that he was also coming back for another edition of his “Friday” movie franchise. “The 4th Friday movie is in the works. Working out a deal with New Line Cinema,” he wrote. Deadline also reports that the actor/rapper will also appear in the feature films “Rampart” and “21 Jump Street.”
