Now that Ali Fedotowsky’s 18-month engagement to Roberto Martinez has gone down the reality tube, the former “Bachelorette” wants to tell the world in order to stay relevant how it all went wrong.
“I wouldn’t be being truthful if I said this came out of nowhere,” Ali, 27, told People, which has the full story that comes out on Friday. “We definitely had been having problems. But I had always believed that we could work it out.”
Although the reality star and her insurance man had postponed their engagement twice to work on their relationship, Ali says they just couldn’t stop bickering.
“We both realized we were unhappy more than we were happy,” she said. “And we both deserved more.”
Considering Ali hasn’t officially found a reality gig to help pay the bills (earlier this month, the Style Network axed her fashion talk show), we wonder if she’ll be following Bradilda Womack’s footsteps and be open to another love resurrection on the “Bachelorette.”
