Newbie Dana Wilkey tries her darndest to fit in with the big girls on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and apparently, she’s finally found her “in”—not only there but also in the broader Bravo franchise: [drum roll]…She’s being sued!

TMZ reports that Dana, along with fiancé John Flynn, are being accused of defrauding Mary Painter of $53K in a shady investment deal.

Although the type of investment Painter was involved in with the couple wasn’t clear in the lawsuit filed this week in L.A. Superior Court, Painter claims that Dana and John promised a minimum 10% return on her money but that thus far, she hasn’t received it nor any of her original investment.

Painter is suing for fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of contract, and is demanding her money back plus damages.

“There is no fraud,” John tells TMZ. “Dana Wilkey is not a properly named defendant, and we expect to continue to negotiate and gain dismissal of this lawsuit as quick as possible.”

Hmmm…if things go bad, does this mean Dana might have to give up her $25K diamond-studded sunglasses and Valentino garb to make ends meet? Say it ain’t so.
