Get ready for the female Beavis and Butt-head.

That’s what a new series just commissioned by MTV from “B and B” and “King of the Hill” creator Mike Judge might turn out to be. The new animated series is called “Worst Friends Forever” and it’s about three teen-aged girls coping with high school.

It’s those characters who you might refer to as female Beavises and Butt-heads, although, truth be told, we haven’t seen them yet — so it’s not really clear if any of these girls will be Beavis- or Butt-head-like.

Anyway, the story of this new series is being reported by TV Guide here.

MTV is expanding its business with Mike Judge because his recent revitalization of “Beavis and Butt-head” has scored attractive ratings for the youth-oriented channel that’s home to “Jersey Shore” and “Teen Mom.”
