Since Dough Hutchinson already ruined this year’s Courtney Stodden costume, Anderson Cooper opted to emulate another one of his obsessions for Halloween: Phil Donahue.

On Monday’s “Anderson,” the Silver Fox donned a white wig and giant glasses in tribute to his favorite talk show host. As Cooper stood waxing poetic about his most treasured Donahue-isms, the real Donahue surprised the audience in an obviously planned bit. (How else do you explain their matching ties?)
