One of TV’s most glamorous women is getting a glamorous honor.

Jennifer Lopez has been named Glamour magazine’s 2011 Woman of the Year. You’ll find the “American Idol” judge on the cover of the magazine’s December issue (out November 8th), where she talks about her huge year, spilling on everything from her broken marriage to Marc Anthony, her new Kohl’s fashion line and her high-profile TV gig.

She also dished on the new season of “Idol” earlier this week while at the Samsung Hope for Children event in Los Angeles. With a reputation for being a diva, viewers were caught a little off guard to find that judge Lopez turned out to be something of a softie. That could change in Season 11.

“We’re a little tougher on everybody,” Lopez told People. “Because of last season and the standard that we set, it’s easy to go, ‘Is he as good as even our top 24 from last year?’ ”

Perhaps they’re tougher because there’s even stiffer competition for the upcoming cycle, which debuts on Fox in January.

Says Lopez, they have discovered some “amazing” voices. “It’s not like you find people just like that, but the ones that we found, we know are very special,” she said.
