How sweet it is.
“Top Chef: Just Desserts” whipped up a winner Wednesday night in its second season finale.
At Stake? A $100,000 prize, a feature in ‘Food and Wine Magazine,’ and the title of Top Chef.
The final three chefs? Matthew Peterson, Chris Hamner and Sally Camacho
The final challenge? Prepare a dessert display table featuring savory bread, bon bons, an entremet cake and a showpiece. Extra Task: Creating a dessert that represented someone special to them.
With presentation and flavor carrying equal weight with the judges, it was hard to tell who would take the cake, since all three chefs received a flurry of raves (although a few sour moments creeped in too) for there culinary confections.
But in the end, it was Chris Hamner who was crowned the winner of “Top Chef: Desserts.”
