After “Ghost Hunters” duo Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson appeared in “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” host Meredith Vieira returned the favor on Wednesday night’s episode on Syfy.

The former co-host of “Today” was game for a new kind of investigation on the episode, hunting for paranormal activity. In an interview on the Syfy.com website, Vieira said that she has believed in ghosts since she was a little girl, but has never experienced one.

As a guest of the “Ghost Hunters” team, that may be about to change.

“I trust their instincts and their knowledge and my lawyer is here in case anything goes wrong,” she joked. Check out a clip from her experience below.

Meanwhile, the show’s annual live Halloween Show is set to bring in Barry Fitzgerald, Kris Williams and Joe Chin from “Ghost Hunters International” as well as “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files” investigators Ben Hansen, Jael De Pardo and Devin Marble for the fun. This year the group will investigate the Pennhurst State School and Hospital property.
