Barney Miller

Airing on ABC primetime from 1974-1982 and seen by millions, ‘Barney Miller’ is a situation comedy television series set in a NYC police station in Greenwich Village. Captain Barney Miller (Hal Linden) is the kind of cop we’d all like to meet. He somehow manages to maintain order over a group of inner-city detectives who gamble for a hobby, get hit on by anything in skirts, go to renaissance philosophy conventions for fun, and would really prefer to be writing. Luther

Young Justice

Robot Chicken

Christmas comes early this year – courtesy of Adult Swim — with the release of ‘Robot Chicken‘ Season 5 on DVD and Blu-ray before it even airs on TV. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) debuts the newly remastered ‘Neighbors’ (1981) on DVD as part of its “Columbia Classics” lineup. The comedy reteamed Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters) and John Belushi (Animal House) after their triumphs on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and the hit film ‘The Blues Brothers.’ A quiet man’s peaceful suburban lifestyle is threatened by the new, obnoxious couple that moves in next door. Roger Corman’s Lethal Ladies

Female karate champion Susanne Carter (Jillian Kesner) goes to the Philippines to look for her sister who has disappeared. She stumbles upon a drug cartel and a tournament of no-holds-barred fights to the death in the action-packed Firecracker. Directed by genre specialist Cirio H. Santiago (TNT Jackson) and costarring Vic Diaz (The Big Bird Cage) and Darby Hilton (Malibu Express). “They call me TNT,” martial arts expert Diana Jackson (Jeanne Bell) announces upon her arrival in Hong Kong to look for her missing brother. Attack the Block

Joseph Campbell: Mythos III

Hosted by Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon, these remarkable talks broadcast continually on PBS explore subjects ranging from Arthurian romances to modern myth. Twas the Night Before Christmas

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
