Mena Suvari confirmed to her fans Friday what entertainment industry sites had been reporting throughout the afternoon. “What a way to start off the day: a teeth, head, arm casting & now a contacts fitting! I love my job!♥ #americanhorrorstory”

The actress has signed on to appear on FX’s new drama “American Horror Story,” which has been generating a lot of buzz for the channel since debuting earlier this year TVline.com reports that the actress will play a young woman named The Black Dahlia with a connection to the Harmon House. She will appear in the show’s ninth episode this season.

Wednesday’s episode of “American Horror Story” scared up nearly 2 million viewers in the adults 18-49 demographic for FX. That’s good enough for a 12% climb over the previous episode.

Suvari, of course, is returning to the big screen as well for the much talked about “American Reunion” that brings back the entire lead cast from the “American Pie” movies. The comedy hits theaters April 6 with stars Jason Biggs, Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Suvari, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Eddie Kaye Thomas.
