Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is attempting to reconstruct her past, issuing a challenge for viewers and fans to send in old pictures of her growing up (since her mom seemed to prefer the “pictures that came in the frame.”) To make up for it, she created a contest dubbed “A Picture is Worth A Thousand Dollars” as a new feature on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
A recent episode featured the star showing the world her sixth-grade class photo, which she used to point out the boy she thinks she kissed during the school year. “It’s not your fault, by the way, if you’re out there,”’ she quipped.
Other shots dug up by audiences included a glamour photo as well as an early poster of her appearing as an act with her brother’s band.
