What’s a ‘90s television star to do after his sitcom goes off the air? If you’re Dennis Haskins, better remembered by “Saved By the Bell” fans as Mr. Belding, you make a career out of karaoke!

Over two decades after disciplining Zack Morris onscreen as Bayside High’s lovable but oblivious principal, Haskins now gets paid to make personal appearances at bars and clubs all over the country, where he chats with, poses for and serenades fans.

According to Fox411, the television actor’s appearances usually last two hours after Haskins is introduced to the bar/club to the familiar tune of the “Saved By the Bell” theme song. Afterward, Haskins gives the audience his trademark Mr. Belding laugh, takes pictures with fans and in some cases, sings karaoke to the tunes of Tom Jones, Billy Joel and Duran Duran.

So just how much does Mr. Belding get paid to belt out the big hits?

According to Fox11, stars of Haskins’ caliber can make anything from $2,500 to $25,000 for personal appearances.

Is the “Saved By the Bell” vet ashamed that he now reprises his ‘90s character at bars for a little extra cash? Not at all.

“Personal appearances are a way many actors from older shows supplement their income, and it is a blessing,” Haskins told Fox 411.

Before you start saving up to invite Mr. Belding to your birthday party, you may want to take a look at some of Mr. Belding’s best karaoke work first. Hey, hey, hey!
