Tim Allen’s sitcom was still standing after its second broadcast Tuesday night on ABC, but it lost nearly 3 million viewers from its premiere a week earlier.

The show, “Last Man Standing,” averaged 10.197 million at 8-8:30 p.m. (7-7:30c), according to Nielsen overnights – down from the 13.192 million it drew in the Nielsen nationals in its high-rated, one-hour debut on Oct. 11.

With Allen’s show faltering a bit in its second go-round, ABC’s other “Man” show – the new sitcom “Man Up!” – lost viewers at 8:30/7:30c off of its Tim Allen lead-in. “Man Up!” had just 7.798 million viewers in the overnights for its series premiere.

The one-hour “Dancing with the Stars Results Show” at 9/8c also fell – from 16.886 million a week earlier in the Nielsen nationals to 13.548 million in the overnights this week. Rounding out ABC’s Tuesday night was “Body of Proof” at 10/9c with 9.496 million – slightly better than a week earlier. ABC’s average on the night: 10.681 million to land in second place.

Elsewhere in the Tuesday overnights:

CBS gained strength and won the night with its two “NCISs” and the new “Unforgettable.” “NCIS” will emerge again as the week’s top-rated scripted TV show; it had 19.009 million viewers in the overnights. “NCIS: Los Angeles” had 15.334 million at 9/8c and “Unforgettable” had 11.874 million at 10/9c. CBS’s average for the three hours of prime time: 15.406 million.

Fox’s two hours of prime time was all “X Factor” for an average viewership from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. (7-9c) of 10.147 million.

NBC had about half as many viewers – an average of 5.088 million for a two-hour “Biggest Loser” followed by “Parenthood.”
