Guess Roseanne isn’t wallowing over the cancellation of her Lifetime reality show “Roseanne’s Nuts.”
The comedienne already has a new sitcom in the works: Called “Downwardly Mobile,” the series has been snapped up by NBC, with a script plus penalty commitment.
“Mobile” will transport Barr back to her working-class roots from the “Roseanne” days – it’s a multi-camera comedy set in a mobile home community, which will star Barr among an ensemble cast.
The project from Twentieth Century Fox TV has former “Roseanne” honcho Eric Gilliland attached as a co-creator, writer and executive producer. Barr and her boyfriend John Argent are also co-creators.
