“True Blood” scene-stealer Kristin Bauer is going from bitchy sidekick to witchy guest star.

Bauer has signed on to play Maleficent, the evil sorceress from “Sleeping Beauty,” for one episode of ABC’s fairy-tale themed drama “Once Upon a Time.” The role originally intended for actress Paula Marshall has been recast with Bauer, according to TVLine.

The actress, best known for playing vampire Pam on the HBO series, revealed her new gig on Twitter, writing, “Packing for Vancouver – to shoot #OnceUponaTime – new fantastical TV show.”

Look for the legendary villainess to appear in episode 2. “Once Upon a Time” premieres on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 8/7c on ABC.
