Reba McEntire is returning to television with a new sitcom at ABC in which she will star and executive produce, Deadline reports.

Called “Malibu Country,” it’s a comedy that will star the country singer … as a singer recently divorced from a rock star who cheated on her and blew all their money. Reba’s forced to move her three kids from Nashville to Malibu to start anew – and try to kickstart her own career.

The series from ABC Studios has a commitment from the network and will reunite McEntire with some of the key members from “Reba’s” team, including showrunner Kevin Abbott and co-executive producers Mindy Schultheis and Michael Hanel.

McEntire’s previous TV show, “Reba,” ran on The WB from 2001 to 2007. She was seen earlier this year on NBC’s “The Voice,” as an advisor to “Voice” coach Blake Shelton’s team.
