“Fab” news for fans of seriously funny TV.

Absolutely Fabulous” is back!

The outrageous duo of Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley will resurrect their booze-tastic characters Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone from the British sitcom for a series of three specials in celebration of the show’s 20th anniversary.

BBC Worldwide is partnering with BBC America and Logo for the specials.

“We are thrilled to be able to celebrate our 20th birthday with all of the original cast,” Saunders, the series star and creator, said in a statement. “We hope that, like a good bottle of champagne we have grown better with age but lost none of our sparkle. We fully intend to party like it’s 1991.”

“People in the US have been fantastically loyal in their devotion to our show, so we really are thrilled to say that it’s coming back for three new shows to celebrate our 20th anniversary,” added Jon Plowman, “Ab Fab” executive producer, in a statement.

Absolutely Fabulous” originally ran from 1992 – 1996, then was revived in 2001 for two seasons, and aired in the U.S. on a variety of channels including Comedy Central, PBS, Oxygen, BBC America and Logo.
