He’s funny and he’s quirky, but can David Arquette dance? Looks like we might find out come Monday, August 29 when ABC announces the Season 13 celebrity line-up for “Dancing with the Stars.”
According to TMZ‘s spies, the actor was spotted heading to a rehearsal studio Thursday to meet his alleged partner-in-dance Kym Johnson. This might put into doubt rumors that pro athlete Ron Artest is in the cast, since Johnson is the tallest of the female pros and would’ve likely been matched up with the 6′ 7″ NBA star for obvious height issues.
Arquette joins the ranks of celebrity names rumored to be “Dancing,” including Cher’s son Chaz Bono and U.S. women’s soccer goalkeeper Hope Solo. At least one rumored dancer is speaking out – Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi says that she hasn’t even been asked to appear on the show, let alone is holding out for more cash, as has been widely reported.
“Nobody’s ever asked me,” the “Jersey Shore” star tells E!, “and they’re saying I’m holding out for money and stuff like that. I never even got asked to even do the show, so I don’t know where that’s coming from.”
The official announcement will be made in just a few more days on Monday’s “Bachelor Pad” episode, split over two segments on the show.
