Capitalizing on its guido cash cow, MTV will air a brand spankin’ new episode of “Jersey Shore” on Sunday night at 7pm EST as a lead into the “2011 Video Music Awards” LIVE pre-show.

The episode will prove to be juicy as it’ll detail the fall out between Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the latter’s much talked about hospitalization. Fans will definitely be surprised to discover the truth behind the speculation.

An encore of Sunday’s show will air the following Thursday, September 1 at 10pm EST, along with the return of “Jersey Shore After Hours” at 11pm EST.
