David Letterman Mocks East Coast Earthquake in Top 10 List

The East Coast was all shook up over a earthquake Tuesday, a 5.8 shaker in Virginia that was felt from North Carolina to Toronto, and New Yorker David Letterman immediately whipped up a Top 10 list to mock the rare occurrence.

Dave also used the opportunity to take his rumble with Kirstie Alley another round, despite the actress appearing on the show just last month, where she chastised him for his repeated fat jokes about her.

Some of the “Top 10 Things Overheard During the Earthquake” from Tuesday night’s “Late Show” include:

10. “That was the scariest two seconds of my life!”

7. “5.9 earthquake, it would have been a 6.2 if it had a better lead-in”
