Looks like the costumes won’t be the only things shiny, sparkly, and dazzling on Season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
The stage and set itself is getting a Hollywood makeover to the tune of $3 million, with changes being made to the stage, set, and audience seats.
According to TMZ, the major overhaul includes bringing in “triple-tiered balcony styled” seats, splitting the big staircase in the middle in two halves to reveal an orchestra pit, and elevating the dance floor on a platform.
If the latter change proves true, the viewers and audience will be at the edges of their seats wondering if a dancing diva or divo might fall off.
The cast – which is rumored to include Rob Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari, Chynna Phillips, Christina Milian, Tiffani Thiessen, and George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis – will be announced on Monday, August 29 during ABC’s “Bachelor Pad.”
The new season starts September 19.
ABC was unable to confirm the changes to the set at press time.
