Oprah Announces Fall Schedule, Can Rosie Save OWN?

Can Rosie O’Donnell save Oprah Winfrey’s network? We’ll find out this fall when the two powerhouses join forces.

OWN announced Thursday its prime-time programming slate for original series that premiere this October, a schedule anchored by “The Rosie Show” and “Oprah’s Lifeclass.”

“With Rosie and Oprah holding down our weeknights, we have a great opportunity to seamlessly reach our core audience on weekends with these strong original and returning series,” said Erik Logan, president OWN, in a statement.

“We’ve already created a destination for our audience on Sunday nights and look forward to building on the momentum Monday through Friday, and expanding OWN’s success to Saturdays,” added Sheri Salata, president, OWN.

Here’s the Fall Line-up on OWN:

MONDAY- FRIDAY (beginning October 10)
7:00 p.m. The Rosie Show
8:00 p.m. Oprah’s Lifeclass

SATURDAY (beginning October 15)
9:00 p.m. Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s
10:00 p.m. Don’t Tell the Bride

SUNDAY (beginning October 16)
8:00 p.m. Ask Oprah’s All Stars
9:00 p.m. Our America with Lisa Ling
10:00 p.m. Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind

The second season premieres of “Enough Already! with Peter Walsh,” “In The Bedroom With Dr. Laura Berman” and “Oprah’s Master Class” will be announced at a later date, according to the release.
