At a TCA panel for ABC’s upcoming “Charlie’s Angels” reboot, series executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said there is a possibility stars from the original show could return for cameo appearances.
“Once we’ve established our show in terms of what our series is, there is definitely room down the line for those appearances by people characters from other iterations,” said Gough in response to a question of whether former “Angels” Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd could come on board. “We did the same thing on ‘Smallville.’ Season 2 we brought in Chris Reeve and then Margot Kidder and Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher So I think very much in a way to kind of honor what’s come before and finding a new twist on a character.”
