Kirstie Alley had a heavy subject to discuss with David Letterman — his jokes about her weight!

To pound home the point, Kirstie came on Letterman’s “Late Show” Thursday night on CBS armed with several jokes he told about her when she was a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC.

She then recited them, hoping to embarrass Dave or perhaps force him into apologizing for them. “Kirstie Alley’s joining ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” began one joke. “If you don’t already own one, now might be a good time to get a wide-screen TV!”

She then read another. “Last night on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ Kirstie Alley fell on the dance floor. How many of you felt it?!”

That joke actually had another part, which went like this, according to Kirstie: “However, the judges scored her an 8 — on the Richter scale!”

Even Kirstie had to admit the jokes were funny. So, how’d Dave react to Kirstie’s recital of his jokes about her?
