A “Real Housewife” is getting a real job.
Former child star and current “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards is returning to acting with a new gig in a Lifetime movie. (Somewhere her former child star sister Kim Richards is crying into a cup of spiked chamomile.)
It’s called “Deadly Sibling Rivalry” and stars Charisma Carpenter of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” who plays a pair of feuding twins, with Richards on board as the evil twin’s best friend.
The title is pretty perfect for the reality star, who’s mending her relationship with sister Kim after a huge rift at the end of Season 1 of “RHOBH.” Both sisters were child actors — Kyle appeared in the original “Halloween” film, though Kim had the bigger resume with projects such as “Escape to Witch Mountain” and “Nanny and the Professor.”
But before you say twisted sister, Richards explains the movie’s name is just a coincidence. “Don’t think too much into the title,” she told E! News.
We’ll see just where the Hilton aunts (Kyle and Kim are Paris Hilton’s aunts) stand with each other when Season 2 of the Bevy bunch returns in September — and just what kind of drama mamas have been added to the cast in new “friends” Brandi Glanville and Dana Wilkey.
Season 2 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” premieres Sept. 5 on Bravo.
